FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH The First Congregational Church of Parkersburg is a member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference and the National Association of Evangelicals.  As an evangelical church, our main purpose is to introduce people to Jesus Christ, to instruct them in the Christian faith, to help them identify their spiritual gifts, so that they might impact the world. Sundays Sept-May 8:15 am & 10:45 am - Worship Services 9:15 am & 10:30 am - Fellowship (coffee and donuts). 9:30 am - Sunday School classes for all ages, nursery care provided. 6:30 pm Jr. and Sr. High youth group. Sundays June - August 9:00 am - Worship Service 10:15 am - Fellowship 10:30 am - Sunday School classes for all ages, nursery care provided Monday: 6:30 am Men's Prayer. 7:00 pm Woman's Bible Study (Fall - Spring). Tuesday: 9:00 am Woman's Bible Study (Fall - Spring). 10:00 am Playgroup either in the Church Fellowship Hall (rain or cold weather) or at Miracle Park. Wednesday: 1:30 pm Ladies Guild (once a month).  6:15 pm AWANA Children's Program (Fall - Spring). We share this ministry with the Calvary Baptist Church.  Thursday Evening: 7:00 pm Men's Bible Study (once a month). 7:00 pm Deaconate/Elder Meeting.
