Thanks for taking the time to visit our web page.  We hope the information found here will help you know a little bit more about our church.  Be sure to take time to look over our statement of faith and our various ministries.

Along with all of that information, let us tell you a little bit more about our church.  We are a growing church that has two worship services each Sunday.  The first service (8:15 am) is for those who like to worship early or enjoy traditional styles of music.  The second service (10:45 am) features contemporary music, led by a worship team.  The words to the choruses are shown on a screen at the front of the sanctuary.  We find that people enjoy worshipping God in different ways, and that's why we have two different services.

We are also a church that is on a mission, because God has given us a vision.  We believe that we have been called to reach as many people as possible in the Parkersburg area with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  So we are a church that reaches out.  We welcome people who have never gone to church before, or who have dropped out for whatever reason.  We believe that God offers forgiveness to anyone who is willing to confess their sins and come to him.  And so, we also offer forgiveness.  We are all sinners who need a Savior.

We also believe that we have been called to help people grow in their faith.  To help accomplish this we offer Sunday School classes, Bible studies, small groups, and children's ministries.

We have recently completed the final phase of our building program.  The new addition to our church gives us a very nice fellowship area for banquets, funeral and wedding receptions, and AWANA.  There are also new offices and a kitchen on the main floor.  The lower level has much needed additional Sunday School classroom space.
